Student Portfolios
GCE Portfolios capture the essence of student inquiry. Portfolios include:
- written reflections and auto-ethnographies
- power-point presentations, graphs, and charts
- photos and videos
- myriad selections of student work
With support from faculty, by graduation, each student has designed a portfolio which serves as his or her intellectual autobiography and as a useful artifact for application to college admissions and professional internships. To view STUDENT PORTFOLIOS or VIDEOS, please visit GCE VOICES.
NOTE: GCE students are learning how to create public portfolios and this process is not without its challenges. After all, this experience is the epitome of navigating the fine line between the teaching and learning of digital literacy and protecting our students and our community. Students must learn the nuanced differences between sharing parts of who they are and exposing themselves in unhealthy ways. Students are constantly learning about content approval, monitoring, and response.
We are grateful for your interest and we ask that you direct any questions or concerns via email to our Director. Thank you.
